Responsibilities

You will represent the QA function as a customer liaison for the rapidly growing Data Solutions value stream and facilitating customer engagement on many levels
Work collaboratively with several cross-functional teams both internally and externally to ensure production lines produce high-quality products that meet customer requirements following proper processes and procedures
Manage internal (production NCRs) & external non-conformances (customer complaints) and evaluate suspect materials while working closely with internal and external teams to quickly identify and resolve any quality-related issues
Lead the identification, containment, root cause analysis, and resolution of quality-related issues following SIX SIGMA (DMAIC) methodologies
Support APQP activities such as PFMEA, Control Plan, GR&R, Capability Studies, First Article Inspection (FAI) etc. for launching new products and maintaining the proper revisions of these processes and documents for the existing products
Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, lean methodologies, and ability to apply them toward manufacturing quality

Required

Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related stem field required
3 + years of experience working in welding processes required

Preferred

5+ years of experience working with Manufacturing or Quality processes preferred
Quality Certifications (CQE, CMQ, CQA) and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor trained strongly preferred
Process improvement, planning, Six Sigma, Lean training, and quality systems experience preferred
AWS CWI certification preferred
Knowledge of ASME Process Piping Weld Code preferred
