Responsibilities
Proficiency in sizing and selecting components and their use in complex assemblies
Define and supervise prototype builds, testing, and external certifications, with some hands-on support as needed
Conduct simulations and analyses (e.g., CFD, FEA, FMEA) to validate product performance and reliability
Design and work with fabrication partners to ensure clean internal flow paths to prevent debris and corrosion in liquid cooling systems
Collaborate across design and operations teams to optimize manufacturability and meet internal/industry/customer standards such as ASME BPVC
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required
5+ years of relevant work experience required
Experience in design and failure analysis tools such as DFMEA, DFM, etc
The ability to design components and assemblies using 3D CAD systems (i.e. SolidWorks)
Knowledge in ASME BPVC design and applications, as well as AWS and ISO standards
Up to 10% domestic travel required
Preferred
Knowledge of selection of fluid distribution components, electrical schematics, heat transfer
Refrigeration or material compatibility experience is a plus
ASME Section IX or equivalent certification is highly preferred
