Responsibilities

Lead initiatives to identify and monitor key events affecting financial balances in Custodial and Operational Demand Deposit Accounts (DDAs) and related general ledger accounts. Develop strategies to enhance account analysis and manage processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Manage and optimize the use of systems and platforms for tracking and recording our financial information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility to support informed decision-making across teams

Prepare and deliver financial reports and communications on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

Provide guidance and insights on financial information by preparing detailed reports and strategic recommendations for senior management to support operational and strategic improvements

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate strategic communication and coordination on financial matters, address complex issues, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in event identification and management processes, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and compliance requirements while enhancing operational efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

5+ years of experience in accounting related to bank and general ledger reconciliation, data analytics, or a related role, with a focus on CMBS and commercial real estate finance

Strong accounting skills and experience with financial reporting standards

Demonstrate intermediate Excel skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting

Organizational and administrative skills that reflect attention to detail and the ability to prioritize amidst competing demands

Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy

Handling workload and special projects efficiently
