This role involves designing, testing, and troubleshooting new components, contributing directly to the GSG/Machinery division, and collaborating with a diverse team.

Responsibilities
Design electrical circuits and build prototypes to prove concepts
Program various PLCs (i.e. Phoenix, IDEC, A-B, Mitsubishi, etc.)
Program in IEC 61131
Knowledgeable in servo sizing and selection
Knowledgeable in designing and programming coordinated motion systems
Perform engineering calculations
Create and revise detailed drawings and bill of materials
Ensure component introduction and change management activities are effectively completed and communicated
Perform board level and system level testing
Prepare test procedures and protocols for technicians
Document test results and generate high level summary reports
Work with others outside of engineering (i.e. manufacturing, purchasing, vendors, etc.)
Review product design for compliance with electrical engineering principles
Knowledgeable of UL, NEC, NFPA, and CE standards and work with Test Laboratories on getting product certified
Qualification
Required
2-3 years Electrical Engineering experience
Demonstrated experience in many of the listed responsibilities
Willing to travel domestically and internationally, and communicate and interact effectively with customers and suppliers
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
Design electrical circuits and build prototypes to prove concepts
