The Production Engineer will provide engineering and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal process operations, monitor performance, and implement process improvements in the Vinylol and Vinyl Salt areas.

Responsibilities

Monitor and track plant performance (output, quality, yields, solvent usage, energy)

Lead operations in troubleshooting and investigation (Root Cause Analysis) of significant unplanned operational events

Develop and document in-depth process technology understanding

Define optimal operation conditions (KOPs/KPISs). Work closely with operations to monitor plant and adjust for optimum performance

Update Operating Unit Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures in assigned process areas

Leads/support process and computer validation as necessary

Additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
