Responsibilities

Drive the development and execution of a multi-year roadmap for system modernization and data capabilities
Own the product backlog, including writing user stories and facilitating refinement sessions
Lead a team of direct and matrixed team members embedded in agile, multifunctional teams
Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Actuarial, Data Science, Underwriting, Operations, and IT
Ensure alignment with data governance best practices, including data mapping and dictionary review
Drive decision-making, remove impediments, and manage interdependencies with other Product Owners
Report on Objectives and Key Results and actively participate in agile ceremonies

Required

Minimum of 5-8 years in the P&C industry with deep knowledge of data use in organizations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated strategic and people leadership in cross-functional environments
Deep knowledge of data schemas, mapping, and lineage in complex, multi-system environments required
Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance required
Working knowledge of Product, Actuarial, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations, and Underwriting

Preferred

Experience with data warehousing preferred
Personal Lines experience preferred
Experience working with agile methodologies preferred
