Responsibilities
Problem-solve test plans, test cases, and test suites for software and embedded systems
Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues
Analyze system requirements and translate them into detailed test documentation and quality assurance protocols
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and business analysts to ensure product readiness
Support the implementation of Agile practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Evaluate product performance post-release using analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
Maintain quality documentation including functional requirements documents (FRD), product requirement documents (PRD), and mock-ups
Provide training and mentorship to new team members on QA processes and tools
Risk minimization through use of appropriate risk assessment tools and verification of the robustness of detection and prevention systems for special characteristics
Support the development and maintenance of FMEA’s and control plans
Support the definition of quality processes and technical standards in cooperation with development, product management, and manufacturing to ensure product quality
Support the planning and evaluation of product test drives within quality and approvals of functions and systems
Provide quality support to the technical and manufacturing teams, as well as drive/support daily operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Higher Diploma in Software Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, and business analysis
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC
Proficiency in QA tools such as Jira, YouTrack, and test management platforms
Experience with cross-platform testing and bug tracking
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with global collaboration
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional collaboration
High attention to detail and ability to maintain rigorous quality documentation
Adaptability to fast-paced environments and willingness to innovate in quality assurance technologies
Preferred
ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level
PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner
