Responsibilities

Support day to day manufacturing operations through daily management and RCCA
Interpret tooling and product drawings to ensure hardware is produced in conformance. Develop technical experience in GD&T and obtain PR certification to disposition suspect hardware
Interact with internal and external auditors
Manage long term projects aimed at creating Zero Defect Culture
Complete trainings required to obtain Quality Excellence Program Level I and II
Develop understanding of significant processes and lead through changes needed in collaboration with Certifying Agents and Design Engineers. Complete trainings required to be Quality Engineer level in SPS system
Lead First Article Inspection efforts for process changes and NPI
Incorporate CIDs flowed from engineering and participate in CID requests to improve value to customer

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 3 years of manufacturing experience or a high school diploma / GED with at least 7 years of experience in manufacturing

Preferred

Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Certification in Six Sigma, CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), or similar
Experience in Aerospace, automotive, or other high-precision industries
Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards
