They are seeking an Information Technology Intern to work with a fast-paced team to build, configure, and secure IT infrastructure in support of the DOD.

Responsibilities

Work alongside technical teams to build, configure, and secure the Information Technology infrastructure

Learn skills including Networking, Server Setup and Configuration, Linux/Unix-based systems, and Virtualization

Perform meaningful work in a professional work environment

Required

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program with a major in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, data science, cyber security, mathematics, or aeronautical engineering

Experience with common software applications and hardware components

Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred

Experience with using and configuring server-based systems or server based operating systems

Experience with developing scripting and automation issues for complex tasks

Experience with dealing with a complex ecosystem of technology

Completed coursework/experience in relation to the building, securing and maintaining of Information Technology systems such as servers, switches, or workstations

Experience with VMWare or virtualization technologies

Current college juniors/rising seniors preferred
