Texas Christian University (TCU) is seeking two exceptional scholars for full-time faculty positions in the Department of Engineering, specifically for the ranks of Full Professor and/or Associate Professor. The successful candidates will conduct transformative research, teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the growth and reputation of the Mechanical Engineering program.

Responsibilities

Conduct transformative, externally funded research
Conduct excellent teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Expand TCU’s reputation in Engineering by building innovative research and educational programs that address critical challenges
Enhance academic excellence by inspire and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and preparing the next generation of mechanical engineers, innovators, and leaders
Help shape the departmental growth and impact

Qualification

Required

a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
A nationally recognized record of excellence and peer reviewed publications
A strong record of securing federally funded research and other externally funded research programs
A commitment to teaching excellence, mentorship, and engaging diverse student populations

Preferred

Preference will be given to faculty members in the areas of Thermo-Fluids, Machine Design, or materials
