Technical Sales Architect (Global Starlink Enterprise Sales)

The Technical Sales Architect will support Starlink’s adoption by engaging in technical sales, leading proof-of-concept efforts, and collaborating with product engineering teams to enhance Starlink’s APIs and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities
Support the technical sales engagements of the broader team, answering customer questions and RFIs during their evaluation of the product
Lead complex customer proof-of-concept efforts to integrate Starlink into existing Enterprise network environments
Collaborate closely with Starlink’s product engineering teams to iterate and improve Starlink’s APIs, SDKs, and Dashboards
Build and iterate on the documentation of Starlink’s APIs and onboarding collateral
Maintain Git repository of reference code to accelerate Starlink API adoption
Contribute to building and executing our channel strategy, assisting in the onboarding and education of new channel partners integration to Starlink APIs
Work in partnership with our Licensing, Government Affairs, Finance, Legal, and Product Engineering teams
Represent Starlink at conferences and events
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or 2+ years of professional working experience in lieu of a degree
2+ years of professional experience in technical sales
2+ years of professional hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise network infrastructure
Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time including to customer locations and other SpaceX locations
This position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite when not traveling with customers

Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills in business and technical issues
Comfort with high degree of ambiguity and figuring out the solution with minimal support
Highly detail oriented, diligent, and hard working with excellent customer interface skills
Deep DevOps experience: Python Programming Language, Git and software revision control processes, VM and Container ecosystems, Linux networking and user-space network stack, Authentication and Authorization (API keys, Tokens, OAuth), HTTP Methods and standard uses, Common API styles (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and data formats (JSON, XML), Building API requests via different methods (Postman, curl) and interpret responses
Proficiency with Computer Networking Fundamentals
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers
