Responsibilities
Remain abreast of the SAP Roadmap, new innovations, and changes to their ecosystem and assess the impact to our environment or opportunities for improvements
Provide thought leadership and direction for end-to-end SAP architecture, incorporating industry standards and best practices
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the organization's objectives
Lead the design and architecture of SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules
Employ appropriate design patterns to enhance system performance and scalability
Ensure resilient and reliable integration of SAP solutions with other enterprise applications and systems
Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, technical specifications, and documentation
Ensure deployment within the SAP ecosystem of components required to support automated CI/CD and operations management including automated change management, testing, compliance tracking and reporting, and performance monitoring to simplify maintenance and upgrades
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including developers, consultants, and stakeholders
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP architecture and related technologies
Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP developments, best practices, and industry trends
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of SAP systems
Ensure SAP solutions comply with industry and country regulations and organizational security standards
Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize SAP environments
Work closely with product owners, digital partners, application owners, business analysts, developers, SAP and other strategic vendor key contacts and others to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions with business processes
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required
At least 15+ years of experience in SAP architecture, design, and implementation
Proven track record of successful SAP projects and initiatives
Proven track record of staying current with SAP technologies and trends, demonstrated through participation in SAP events and continuous learning
Extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW4, Datasphere, and other SAP systems and modules
Extensive experience with using SAP S/4 and related modules in a Healthcare manufacturing and distribution environment
Strong understanding of SAP BTP
Experience with SAP RISE
Experience with the use of microservices to expose access to SAP functionality outside of the SAP ecosystem
Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or CI/CD pipelines for SAP environments
Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Data Intelligence, or integration with 3rd party BI tools
Familiarity with database technologies, including HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server
Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP Fiori/UI5 development
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and innovatively
Strong leadership and project management abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with SAP key contacts assigned to our account and across SAP
Excellent communication skills (English)
Required to be on-site minimum 3 days a week with flexible work timing
Preferred
A master's degree is preferred
Experience with Azure is a plus
SAP Certifications desirable but not required
