Vice President Director, Connections Strategy
Digitas North America is the Networked Experience Agency, focused on creating magnetic experiences for brands. The VP/Director, Connections Strategy will lead strategic initiatives for B2B and B2C client engagements, leveraging media and marketing expertise to solve business challenges and inspire connected creativity.

Responsibilities
Analyzing a variety of data-centric resources to develop powerful insights into the media consumption and behaviors that fuel consumer and business decision-making and guide the development of a coherent and effective connections plan
Mapping complex, multi-stakeholder B2B customer journeys and consumer experience journeys to identify high impact moments for brands to connect and influence
Crafting stories based on how people are interacting with digital platforms, peer networks, their devices, and other technology to reveal how brands can better connect with their prospect and customer audiences
Partnering with relationship leads, data and technology experts, creative strategists, and other cross-capability teams to translate the holistic communications plan into innovative ideas and programs, resulting in smartly-mapped marketing tactics that deliver on stated goals
Identifying opportunities to leverage marketing technology and data throughout the communications plan—including the use of first-party data, AI, and intent signals to drive personalization and account-based marketing (ABM)
Leading the evolution and ongoing management of a Connections toolkit - a consistent approach to Connections Strategy outputs
Qualification
Required
10-12 years of expertise in B2B marketing and media
Multichannel digital media-savvy B2B marketing expert
Proven track record in leveraging audience segmentation to build customer strategies for enterprise technology based clients
Deep familiarity with the B2B marketing landscape, including experience with ABM platforms, LinkedIn advertising, B2B content marketing, and understanding of B2B buying committees and long sales cycles
Strong analytical thinker with exceptional research dexterity and experience with media-centric tools such as Comscore, MRI, Google Analytics
Cross-channel thinker with working knowledge of media and innovative channel selection
Creative partner who can brief teams and own the vision for holistic systems
Team leader and relationship builder with authoritative point of view with senior clients
Approachable manager with strong history of team oversight and talent development
Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills
Flexibility to adapt quickly to change
Preferred
Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALL·E, Midjourney)
