As a Control Tower Specialist, you will be responsible for executing transportation planning, monitoring exceptions, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure effective operational activities for multinational companies.

Responsibilities

Execute transport, load, and consolidation planning

Execute 3PL selection and booking process

Proactively identify and address any transport related exceptions

Act as the point of contact for transport related communication with vendors, 4PL customer, and 3PL’s

Provide solutions to shipment specific questions and inquiries

Monitor and follow up on non-compliant or missing communication events

Execute the spot quote process to obtain competitive and timely quotations for the customer

Act as the point of contact for cargo claims on behalf of the client and manage the claims process

Required

The ideal candidate must have at least two (2) to three (3) years of operational experience

Understanding of supply chain and logistics is a plus

Strong Excel Skills

A college degree is required

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

Good communication and organization skills and a strong attention to detail are required

The ability to work on a team and leadership experience is strongly desired

Candidate should have the ability to learn various computer programs
