They are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join their in-house traveler team, responsible for assisting the surgical team and maintaining a sterile environment during operations.

Responsibilities

Perform various duties including but not limited to: provide assistance to surgical team during the intra-operative phase, provide aseptic, safe, appropriately equipped and functional surgical environment

Responsible for OR preparation, instrument supply and assembly, maintenance of sterile fields, hands off instruments and initiation of counts throughout procedures

Perform Surgical Technologist duties including on-call duties as need or required

Qualification

Surgical Technology ProgramCertified Surgical TechnologistBasic Life Support CertificationSurgical Technologist ExperienceDiploma

Required

Equal to completion of 4 years of high school plus additional specialized courses or training is required

Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program is required

Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by a nationally recognized surgical technologist certifying body accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and recognized by the American College of Surgeons and the Association of Surgical Technologist is required

Certification in Basic Life Support is required

One (1) year of Surgical Technologist experience is required
