Responsibilities
Performs patient registration on samples received when necessary
Performs phlebotomy activities on patients of all ages with minimal supervision
Performs necessary steps related to specimen processing
Ensures correct sample is routed to correct location for testing whether internally or externally
Provides guidance on what to order, what samples to collect, how to collect, and how to transport blood and tissue samples to the laboratory
Performs computer related activities as required
Provides assistance to all incoming phone calls
Restocks supplies as necessary
Performs other duties such as data collection, filing, faxing, assisting technologists and couriers for specimen pickup and transport

Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Preferred
Phlebotomy experience
