Maintenance Technician

Ball Homes, LLC is a company that offers limited after hours on call for their maintenance team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining rental properties while ensuring exceptional customer service is provided to clients.

Responsibilities

Handle general plumbing issues such as commodes, stop ups, faucet leaks, clean drains, replace or repair hot water heaters, thermostats, and heating elements

Using the pre-lease checklist, go through vacant units

General repairs (i.e. drywall) as needed

Repair roof leaks and other water leaks

Replace or repair electrical switches, outlets, GFI outlets, and circuit breakers

Maintain pool area and keep clear of debris

Repair or replace appliances such as garbage disposals, dishwashers, stoves, and refrigerators

Keep A/C units functioning. Check for leaks, change filters, and clean coils

Organize and keep shop clean, also run compactor

Repair and install doors and windows

Perform monthly property inspections

Snow removal from sidewalks as needed

Other duties as needed or requested by supervisors

Required

High school education/GED

Basic knowledge and understanding of all power tools used for advanced carpentry

Broad construction/maintenance background

Ability to positively interact with customers and/or co-workers

Daily interactions with residents, co-workers, and supervisor

Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects (i.e. water heaters)

Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions

Work outside in all weather conditions
