Controls Technician
Pueblo is expanding its controls team in Tucson and is looking for a Controls Technician. The role involves working with HVAC systems, performing installations, diagnostics, and overseeing projects in building automation.

Responsibilities
The Controls Technician I is an entry-level technician with a basic knowledge of HVAC systems, basic computer operations and is the process of learning and understanding introductory control sequences
This technician will be able to install controls inclusive of terminating wiring and has the ability to perform lower-level startups and commissioning, however, they would not be proficient in programming or diagnosing control problems
This technician does not function unsupervised and is not tasked with supervising subcontractors or maintaining schedules
The Controls Technician II has a solid grasp of HVAC systems and controls, some programming experience in at least one line and has the ability to perform lower-level startups and commissioning
This technician has 3 or more years of experience in the building automation industry and may hold a certification in controls programming of BACnet Advanced Application Controllers and an operating knowledge of Niagara AX or N4
The technician is able to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair most elementary control issues, as well as coordinate activities of subcontractors and maintain schedules on smaller jobs
The Controls Technician III is an experienced technician and is expected to be capable of all of the Technician II responsibilities but also must be certified and considered proficient in programming of BACnet Advanced Application Controllers in the Niagara AX or N4 environment, as well as in IT computer networking
This level of technician is also capable of all field diagnostics, repair and programming
This position will also oversee the more complicated jobs involving subcontractors and will function as the foreman for self-performed work
The Controls Technician III will be involved in many areas of Building Automation and Energy Management Controls, and will perform duties in Controls Service, Construction Startup and Controls Programming
The Controls Technician IV is our highest level of Controls Technician, an individual who has mastered all aspects of automated controls and system integration
This technician is expected to be capable of all Technician III responsibilities, but also must be certified in BACnet Advanced Application Controller programming
The Controls Technician IV must also be capable proficient and certified in programming in Niagara AX or N4 as well as IT computer networking
This position is also capable of all diagnostics, repair and programming in the field
This position will also oversee the more complicated jobs involving subcontractors as well as function as the foreman for self-performed work
The Controls Technician IV will be involved in many areas of Building Automation and Energy Management Controls, and will perform duties in Controls Service, Construction Startup and Controls Programming
