Aircraft Maintenance Technician

As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will perform mechanical tasks on aircraft, troubleshoot systems, and conduct inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft.

Responsibilities

Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
Removal and installation of panels and components
Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system/component issues
De-fueling aircraft
Engine removal/installations
Operating ground support equipment
Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/ taxiing
Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling
Immediately notify the Lead Mechanic of any problem areas such as parts, materials, workmanship, or airworthiness issues
Provides the Lead Mechanic with a detailed report of work progression and open items to be included in the shift turnover log
Proper tagging of Aircraft components, parts, and panels appropriately stored including racks by aircraft
Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases
Willing and able to work rotating shifts including, nights, holidays, weekends and days off
Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
