The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will perform instrumentation activities related to automation and preventive maintenance while troubleshooting and maintaining PLCs and automated systems on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities
Modifies siemens 505 & S7 PLC and Wonderware HMI’s
Selects, installs, configures and calibrates prox eyes, thermo couples, and other industrial sensors arrays
Understands and follows all safety regulations, actively participates in plant safety programs, and tests equipment for safety and efficiency
Supports a positive team atmosphere
Identifies parts needed for electrical maintenance and repair projects and obtains these parts from the parts room
Transports parts and equipment between work projects in progress
Uses electrical hand tools or voltage or amperage measuring and recording devices
Performs electrical repairs on various types of electrical equipment per SOP’s and PM’s
Bends, hangs and runs conduit where needed. Pulls electrical cable and wire in conduit. Transports and stacks conduit and electrical wire as needed
Trains operators on new systems and updates LOTO and SOP information
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
At least 1-year of related work experience
Functions well when working in a team environment
Ability to work rotating shifts
