The Molding Technician II will work in a collaborative environment, responsible for maintaining molds, ensuring their readiness, and performing necessary repairs and inspections.

Responsibilities
Follow & update IQMS RT Scheduler mold requirements, as determined by the planner
Green-tag readied molds; move to staging area in molding department
Disassemble & clean molds; inspect for problems
Install changeover parts, as required
Take measurements to determine wear & proper sizes of pins, bushings, and hold dimensions
Keep records up to date, including mold tagging system
Practice good housekeeping and appropriate measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment
Repair Manifolds on tools having an electrical diagnostic background to perform necessary duties
Work with manufacturing engineering on schematics of old/new tools
Keep inventory of spare components up to date and work with supervisor on sending out molds if needed to external vendors
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in tool maintenance and mold repair
Ability to follow and update IQMS RT Scheduler mold requirements
Skills in disassembling and cleaning molds
Capability to inspect molds for problems
Experience in installing changeover parts as required
Ability to take measurements to determine wear and proper sizes of pins, bushings, and hold dimensions
Proficiency in keeping records up to date, including mold tagging system
Commitment to practicing good housekeeping and preventing pollution or negative environmental impacts
Electrical diagnostic background to repair manifolds on tools
Ability to work with manufacturing engineering on schematics of old/new tools
Skills in keeping inventory of spare components up to date
Ability to work with supervisor on sending out molds to external vendors
