The Window Service Technician is responsible for conducting troubleshooting, warranty repairs, and diagnostics for the window division while providing outstanding customer service and managing the warranty area of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Locates sources of problems using in-field observations, along with direction from builders and homeowners
Carries out warranty repairs and adjustments tied to the manufacturer's warranty
Work with their manager to ensure proper invoicing, manufacturer rebates, and job statuses are documented and executed
Provide outstanding customer service
Manage the window warranty area of the warehouse. Needs to control inventory in parts in the area
Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2 - 5 years of related experience
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
High level of knowledge of window installation, operation, and service
Valid driver's license
