As a Behavior Technician, you will work directly with children and adolescents, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients achieve their developmental goals.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings
Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements
Teach communication, social, and self-care skills to children ages 2-18 years
Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior
Implement behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Passion for working with children and making a difference
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow structured treatment plans while also thinking on your feet
Reliable transportation to client sessions
Minimum Availability Requirement: We require all employees to be available to work a minimum of (10) hours per week within at least one of our designated time slots
Preferred
Previous experience in ABA, childcare, education, or healthcare is a plus but not required—we provide comprehensive paid training!
