EMG Technician
HCA Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to the growth and development of its colleagues. The EEG Technician will perform testing to measure and record electrical activity of the brain, prepare patients for EEG procedures, and maintain records and supplies.

Responsibilities
Preparing patient for EEG by explaining procedures
Applies electrodes and checks their performance
Performing standard EEG recording procedures
Calibrates and adjusts EEG apparatus
Delivering EEGs to physicians for interpretation
Maintaining records, files, and tracing information
Ordering supplies and equipment
Scheduling and completing pacemaker monitoring, and contacting patients if monitoring is not done
Maintaining pacemaker files
Assisting physicians related tests
Perform other duties as required
Must read, understand, and adhere to all Physician Services policies and procedures
Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1-2 years of EEG experience
Knowledgeable and skilled in all EEG diagnostic testing of EEG testing
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Skill in performing a wide range of tests as directed, writing reports and completing records
Ability to communicate effectively
Preferred
CPR certification
