They are seeking a Generator Installation Technician to work alongside expert installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels
Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting
Assist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components
Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems
Use electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safely
Ensure all installations meet local and national electrical codes
Promote a safe and positive work environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Qualification

Required

Must hold a valid Driver License with clean record
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience
Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints
Comfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various conditions

Preferred

AC and DC electrical experience preferred
