This role involves identifying, documenting, and correcting non-conforming products or components through rework processes, ensuring all reworked items meet quality standards before being returned to production or shipped to customers.

Responsibilities
Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful evaluation of returned products
Develop and conduct methods for testing and evaluation of returned products
Provide technical support for and continually review testing processes for all returned products
Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying issues found during testing of products
Complete Inspection of parts associated with customer complaints or SOHN
Reclaim tested products (ACs, Refers, Coolers, Etc)
Repackage items damaged in warehouse (includes inspecting and testing items if applicable)
Perform Rework for requests received through Segment Quality (includes reworking items, repackaging, relabeling, etc.)
Assist RGA technicians with testing as needed
Assist RGA technicians with paperwork (includes receiving and dispositioning items returned under warranty)
Assist Engineering Dept with special requests; testing and/or repairing items to regain functionality
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
1–3 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment, preferably in rework or repair
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions and drawings
Familiarity with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and quality standards (ISO, IPC, etc.)
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Experience with soldering, wiring, or mechanical assembly (if applicable)
Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred
Technical certification or associate degree
