Responsibilities
Receiving samples from the tankers as they arrive at the site
Performs wet bench chemistry to analyze waste acceptance of samples and loads prior to disposal at facility
Manages regulatory paperwork (manifests, bills of lading, logbooks, etc.) in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations for proper recordkeeping
Serves as a technical liaison between customers and other departments of the facility
Coordinates with the laboratory manager on other projects as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Three (3) hours of college chemistry (wastewater experience may substitute)
Basic knowledge of laboratory personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety
Basic computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Office)
Preferred
One year (1) of experience working as a lab technician
