Responsibilities

Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs and to determine final testing parameter/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols

Oversees and performs difficult and unusual procedures and therapeutic interventions

Follows procedural protocols

Demonstrates the ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy

Completes assigned goals

Polysomnography certificationBasic Life SupportAdvanced Cardiac Life SupportComputer literacySupervision skills

Required

Successful completion of accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography OR Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician

Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent

Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification

Basic computer literacy skills

BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
