Radiology Technician II Lead

Responsibilities
Perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions
Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines
Accepts accountability for successful department operations and its integration into the hospital
Establishes clear objectives and goals for work team
Have participated in or initiated a QI, QC, QA project with documented outcomes
Responsible for proper use of Radiology Information System
Understands and uses CR/PACS systems
Coordinates work schedule with Departmental Director and/or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage
Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available
Perform the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrates competency
Conduct scheduling and coordination of work flow for the work area or shift
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduate from an accredited Radiography program or equivalent
MRT in State of Texas, ARRT required
BLS required
Preferred
Three years' experience preferred
