BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to work in their Emergency and Critical Care department. The role involves providing advanced medical care to critically ill patients, including triaging, monitoring ventilator cases, and mentoring other technicians.

Responsibilities

Triage and obtain patient history

Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines

Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases

Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients

Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers

Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents

Required

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Experience in Emergency and Critical Care

Ability to triage and obtain patient history

Ability to monitor and care for Ventilator Cases

Passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
