Field Service Technician

They are seeking skilled Electrical Field Service Technicians to perform acceptance testing for electrical equipment within Data Center Facilities and collaborate with team members and customers to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Performing the necessary Acceptance Testing for electrical equipment within Data Center Facilities
Safely use hand and power tools, metering & testing equipment, and precision instruments
Collaborate with internal team members & customers/ end-users to complete projects within defined timelines
Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Required

Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in switchgear installation, testing, and maintenance, preferably in industrial, utility, and/ or data center environments
Knowledge of industry-specific electrical code, regulations, and related safety standards/ protocols (OSHA, NFPA 70E)
Expertise in switchgear maintenance, troubleshooting, and breaker installation
Strong electrical aptitude, understanding of power systems and problem-solving skills
Thorough understanding of LDL, L2, L3 inspections and testing procedures
Proficiency in secondary injection testing of breakers and PT/CT wiring installations
Familiarity with bus installations, meter configurations, and control wiring
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Hands-on experience with testing and maintenance tools (multimeters, megohmmeters, etc)
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and providing technical support
Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide timely resolutions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with daily reporting and documentation of work performed
Willingness to travel to various project sites within the U.S
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols
This job involves both indoor and outdoor work. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds repeatedly
Climb ladders, staircases, step stools, stand, walk, sit, and operate vehicles for extended periods
Bend, stoop, crawl and work in awkward positions or confined spaces for several hours
