Responsibilities
Mask, clean, and prepare industrial gearboxes and electric motors for painting
Hang product on paint racks or overhead conveyors in a safe and appropriate manner
Mix paints and primers following correct procedures for each type, prepare painting guns and equipment
Paint product with a professional looking finish
Stage painted product in an appropriate method to allow proper drying before packing
Some assistance with packing of product for shipping will be required
Other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Moderate knowledge of industrial liquid paint booth equipment operation
Moderate knowledge of paint preparation procedures
Basic knowledge of forklift operation (on site certification will be required)
Basic knowledge of packing and crating of products both corrugated and wooden cartons
Moderate knowledge and ability to use manual and power tools
Moderate understanding of paint booth safety procedures
Basic understanding of and ability to follow company safety procedures
Preferred
Basic knowledge of inventory control procedures
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
1 - 2 years in an industrial or automotive painting environment
