Responsibilities

Ability to maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards
Ability to work safely with programs such as lockout/tagout (LOTO)
Equipment setup, adjustment, troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance (PM) work, overhaul, and repair
Use of shop tools, including cutting, grinding, drill press, welding, and minimal machining
Perform work (if qualified) on electric motors and controls
Work with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to perform work orders, document work, and order parts
Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and prints
Ability to perform duties outside and inside in varying conditions, including extreme heat, cold and wet, and/or humid conditions, etc

Required

High school diploma required
Ability to maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards

Be knowledgeable of and follow the safety procedures as outlined by Monogram Foods
Be knowledgeable of your department's safe food handling practices, HACCP, and quality control procedures
You must be able to speak, read and write in English
Verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
Walk on slippery wet surfaces
Climb small ladders or platforms
Use small hand tools for the assembly of equipment
Hand/eye coordination
Handling (holding, grasping)
Seeing/depth perception
Lift 60 lbs
Push/pull 500 lbs
Walk/stand 100% of the shift
Employees must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for employment at Monogram Foods
This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends

Preferred

Technical college education or equivalent 2 years' experience in a manufacturing-related field preferred
Bi-Lingual a plus- English/Spanish
