RV Technician
Colton RV & Marine is seeking an RV Technician who will perform various maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. The role requires diagnosing and fixing RV problems while ensuring quality standards are met and communicating with service advisors.

Responsibilities
Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance
Ensure that the final work product meets quality standards
Examine and diagnose RV problems
Discuss repairs with shop foreman or RV service advisor
Communicate additional service requests to RV service advisor
Plan work procedures in cooperation with shop foreman
Provide labor time estimates to RV service advisor
Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly
Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation
Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
Attend company trainings as required
Keep current with factory technical bulletins
Communicate with all departments when more information needed or when problems arise
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Ability to diagnose and fix electrical, heating, plumbing, and hydraulic systems
Construction skills to repair water damaged units
Must have own tools appropriate to skill level
Must have a valid Driver's License with clean, insurable, driving record
Preferred
RVIA certification
State Inspection License
Certification in trade fields such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing
Experience preferred in one of the following categories: Boat: Exteriors, Boat: Interiors, Carpentry, Cars, Electrical Systems, Fiberglass, High and Low Voltage Systems, HVAC, Hydraulics, Plumbing, Propane Systems, RVs, Welding
