Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance across multiple sites within an expansive geographic area
Efficiently handle a substantial volume of service requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt resolution
Collaborate with facilities management and operations teams to assess facility requirements and project planning
Supervise facility maintenance contracts and oversee preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
Administer the facility work order system, ensuring timely assignment and completion of all work orders
Serve on a rotating on-call schedule for facility issues once a month
Serve as the primary contact for vendors and contractors, managing vendor relationships and ensuring contract compliance and service delivery
Accurately input and track data in the work order system to monitor service requests and assign tasks to the appropriate providers
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, ice machines, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and systems to identify and implement solutions
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and installations
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment inventory
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, and repair
Knowledge of preventative maintenance best practices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training preferred
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Capability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments
