The Sales and Service Technician role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of fire protection systems, which includes sales, installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of these systems.

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Sell services and products within assigned territory, maintaining assigned sales/service quota and following established guidelines

Inspect, service, install fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and exit/emergency lighting

Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques

Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition

Follow up with prospects

Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures

Service existing book of business and new customers

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent required

Must have valid driver's license and a good driving record that meets company requirements

Proficient computer skills in Windows based software and MS office 2000 or higher

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Excellent interpersonal skills

Must possess strong communication, negotiating, and time management skills

Flexible Style; perseverance; action oriented; interpersonal savvy

Ability to work a full time schedule

Must be in good physical condition with no limitations

Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather

Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds

Must be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedly

Must be able to push greater than 100 pounds as needed

Must be able to pull greater than 100 pounds as needed

Must be able to safely climb a ladder and reach a height of at least 12 ft

Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening
