New Grad, Entry LevelVetcelerator is dedicated to providing excellent veterinary care at Arab Veterinary Hospital. They are seeking a compassionate Kennel Technician responsible for the well-being of animals, maintaining a clean environment, and assisting with basic medical procedures.

Responsibilities
Feed, water, and provide proper care to animals, including dogs, cats, and other small animals
Clean and sanitize animal living spaces and equipment on a regular basis
Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the appropriate staff member
Assist with basic medical procedures, such as administering medication and taking vital signs
Groom animals, including bathing, brushing, and trimming nails
Provide exercise and socialization for animals as directed by staff
Assist with adoptions and animal intake as needed
Maintain accurate records of animal care and behavior
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of animal care and behavior
Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
Preferred
Previous experience working with animals in a kennel or shelter environment is not required, but it would be a plus
