They are seeking an Environmental Test Technician to perform testing on aircraft instruments, displays, and computers, including environmental tests such as thermal and vibration testing, while entering results into their ERP system.

Responsibilities

Perform environmental (thermal) testing on aircraft instruments, displays, and computers

Perform vibration tests

Must be able to set up and tear down fixtures per specification

Enter test results into our Failure Report System

Communicate with technicians during daily shift change meetings

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution

Minimum two years of experience working in an environmental or product testing function

Ability to troubleshoot test equipment

Ability to comprehend electronic and mechanical drawings

Ability to use a computer for data entry

Must be detail-oriented and have good time management skills

Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently on assignments

Must be able to lift, push, or pull vibration fixtures short distances weighing up to 50 pounds

Preferred

Associate's degree in an electronics, electrical, or mechanical program from an accredited institution

Two years of experience in electronics and testing operations

Experience with environmental chambers and vibration tables

Ability to work with different software programs: MS Office, DOS, LabVIEW, etc
