Responsibilities
Knows, understands, and follows all Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements
Installing new ventilations, heating, and air condition systems
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
Inspect, adjust, and repair systems and performing services
Preform emergency repair request promptly and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance
Knowledgeable at reading technical data such as pressure and temperature
Run pipe and duct systems
Provide technical direction and training
Keep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
Adheres to all appliance standards including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and HVAC codes
Input information in maintenance tracking system (SAP PM)
Performs other duties assigned as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of HVAC experience
Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes
Good knowledge of local codes and standards
Experience in reading construction drawings
Basic Computer Skills
Must be able to walk long distances and stand and work for more than 2 hours in tough environmental conditions (high temperature, high humidity, noise, & dust), lift 50 Lbs. and withstand heights of up to 500 feet
Must have reliable transportation to and from work
Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC-card
