The City of Baytown is hiring a Part-Time Concession Technician to bring energy and great service to our parks and events. The role involves operating a concession stand, handling payments, preparing food orders, and maintaining sanitary conditions to ensure a pleasant experience for visitors.

Responsibilities

Collects payments for food items and ticket sells
Takes and prepares food orders, cleans utensils, equipment, storage, food preparation and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions
Responds to inquiries of staff and the public for the purpose of providing information and/or direction
Inspects food items and/or supplies for the purpose of verifying quantity and specifications of orders and/or complying with mandated health requirements
Performs all other job related duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Must be sixteen years of age
Basic reading and writing skills

Preferred

Experience in food preparation and service
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (must obtain TX driver's license within 90 days)
