Responsibilities
Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures including IV injections of radiopharmaceuticals, use of spect camera and computers and processing of computer generated images
Keeps accurate records of receipt, disposal and administration of radioactive material
Performs required Quality Control procedures on camera and equipment and document results
Reviews images, documents completion of case, assembles images, requisition and file jacket for delivery to Radiologist
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Required
Formal nuclear medicine technology training at an AMA approved school
State license / New Jersey Required
ARRT Certification Required or
CNMT certification Required
CPR or BLS Certification Required
Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team
