Contents Lead Technician

They are seeking a Contents Lead Technician to oversee the inventory, packing, cleaning, and restoration of personal belongings affected by damage, while managing a team and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team in the packing, transportation, cleaning, and restoration of personal belongings
Conduct detailed inventory using company software and document all items properly
Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters, providing updates on content restoration
Oversee secure storage, retrieval, and organization of customer property in the warehouse
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
Pack, unpack, disassemble, and reassemble furniture and other items as needed
Load, unload, and transport belongings with care to prevent damage
Inspect all contents for pre-existing damage and accurately document findings
Perform cleaning and restoration using appropriate methods and solutions
Utilize tracking software to manage inventory and ensure proper storage
Maintain warehouse organization and inventory of supplies
Report project challenges to management and propose solutions
Complete documentation and administrative tasks as required

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in contents restoration, moving, packing, or a related field
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs without assistance and perform physically demanding tasks
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in inventory tracking and restoration software (training available)
Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Flexible schedule with availability for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed

Preferred

Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
Disaster restoration experience preferred
Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
