The Industrial Electrical/Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and reactionary repairs on failed equipment, ensuring that machinery operates effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

Observes mechanical devices in operation to ensure they are in proper working order

Diagnoses malfunctions in machinery and equipment

Dismantle devices to gain access to, remove, and replace defective parts

Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders

Repairs all production machinery and any related equipment

Assists supervisor with the maintenance of parts inventory, notifying supervisor of parts and machines needed. Lubricate and cleans parts

Recommends measures to improve equipment performance and safe work practices

Complies with company policies and procedures

Diagnose and repair electrical circuits and industrial electronic equipment

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience with in a manufacturing setting

Minimum 1 year experience in maintenance

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics

Able to stand for long periods of time

Not afraid of heights

Preferred

Experience with the Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a plus
