Priority Cares Home Services is a New York-based agency dedicated to providing compassionate care to communities. They are seeking a skilled AV Technician to support and maintain audio and videoconferencing systems across ACS offices, involving system design, project coordination, installation, troubleshooting, and staff training.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for all audio and videoconferencing systems
Support Childstat at the Training Center and field offices
Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment and videoconferencing systems
Conduct site surveys and diagnose issues for moves, additions, changes, and repairs
Develop technical requirements and detailed project plans for new systems and upgrades
Oversee the installation and implementation of videoconferencing systems and room upgrades
Coordinate with telecommunications vendors for issue resolution and upgrades
Train and coach staff on AV technologies, including videoconferencing, distance learning, and audio systems
Prepare instructional and operational materials for staff
Provide end-user technical training and ongoing support
Communicate effectively with management and technical teams
Perform field work across ACS locations within NYC

Required

Strong experience in AV system support, installation, and troubleshooting
Hands-on knowledge of Cisco, Tandberg, and Polycom videoconferencing systems and Multipoint Control Units (MCU)
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and vendors
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to perform fieldwork across the five boroughs

Preferred

Experience working in confidential and sensitive environments
Strong multitasking abilities with excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications
Experience with streaming systems (Qumu, Crestron, AMX)
Knowledge of public address systems
Experience with recording systems (e.g., Shure, Lectrosonics Wireless Microphones)
