They are seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and install electrical and instrumentation equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety in a remote mining environment.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, and install electrical and instrumentation equipment to keep production going and profitability up
Inspect your workplace before starting any job
Assist in the planning of electrical and instrumentation jobs, including design, scheduling, and procurement
Apply technical aptitude to install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment located in mineral processing and power generation facilities
Conduct workplace inspections assigned each morning and prioritize work before starting
Ensure safety by inspecting equipment and work areas before starting the day
Qualification
Required
Experience working as an electrician
Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and install electrical and instrumentation equipment
Comfortable with electrical components and able to identify problems and fix them in real-time
Ability to work independently on a remote island
Commitment to safety and conducting workplace inspections
Current authorization to work in the United States
