Responsibilities

Skillfully complete tasks listed on repair orders, always within our dealership's guidelines
Use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and equipment to inspect, diagnose, and verify guest concerns for everything automotive, from air conditioning to engines
Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs required, maintaining transparency and building trust
Carry out warranty repairs flawlessly, adhering to manufacturer specifications and ensuring every vehicle is in top condition
Be the vital link between our clients and service advisors, ensuring timely and accurate vehicle status updates

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or ASE certification preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
Experience with using diagnostic tools, service equipment, and repair manuals
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification or equivalent is highly desirable
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Strong understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and HVAC systems
Familiarity with manufacturer-specific repair procedures and guidelines
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods
Manual dexterity and the ability to use hand tools effectively
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and accurately
High precision and attention to detail in all repair and maintenance tasks
Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Ability to communicate effectively with service advisors and guests
Proficient in documenting repair work and explaining technical issues to non-technical individuals
Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues
Willingness to assist and support other technicians as needed
Willingness to stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques
Ability to adapt to new tools, equipment, and diagnostic procedures
Strong work ethic and reliability
Adherence to dealership policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
