Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic electroencephalograph (EEG) testing
Attach, connect, and operate electrodes from specified body areas to leads from electroencephalograph machine
Review patient's record and instruct patients prior to procedures
Monitor patient during procedures and report any abnormal findings
Identify and correct for artifacts
Edit and forward results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation
Maintain EEG equipment and supplies

Required

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required

Preferred

Currently credentialed as an Electroencephalographic (EEG) technologist by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) preferred
