The role involves troubleshooting and repairing PLC based electrical control systems for CNC machines, as well as monitoring and modifying PLC programs and planning electrical control panel installations.

Responsibilities

Understand and support company quality objectives

Trouble-shoot automated production machinery, identify root cause for trouble and repair as necessary

Diagnose and replace faulty electrical and electronic components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, positions, sensing devices, printed circuit boards and PLC’s

Safely connect power to machines and equipment, and control wires between machines and monitor equipment

Replace damaged sensors

Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings

Test motor insulation

Maintain interior and exterior lighting systems
