Responsibilities
Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair a wide variety of biomedical equipment and systems. Anesthesia, OR and imaging equipment a plus
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on equipment
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure equipment is functioning properly
Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with regulatory standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting
Copy of training certificates and degree required
Strong knowledge of medical equipment and systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must pass background and drug screen
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred
Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field
