The role involves assisting with the operation of equipment, performing maintenance and repairs, and conducting quality checks during production.

Responsibilities

Assist with operation of decorator equipment while maintaining quality standards

Perform daily maintenance plans and audits of machines/housekeeping according to maintenance plan

Perform and report technician-level repairs (basic technical repairs)

Trouble shoot faulty equipment and assemblies. Assist Decorator Specialist with repair of defective parts

Perform routine quality checks at the appropriate stage of production

Perform any other duty reasonable corresponding with the role

Required

Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical or similar)

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Self-motivated with high attention to detail required

Problem solving skills

Ability to work independently or as a team

Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environmental protection regulations

Preferred

1-3 years' experience as a Mechanic in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred

Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred
